You have to be a really open minded person to watch Irréversible. It deals with sadomasochism, (conversations on) incest, and rape. (The rape scene seems to last for 45 minutes.)
Do not assume you will have time to brace yourself for the uneasy parts. The film jumps right into the action! (I hope it is OK to say action.)
If you are an open minded person, make this film your 3rd DVD pick. Otherwise, leave it on the shelf.
